Dewy and Casual-Chic Look on Whitney Port

Last night I did a dewy and casual-chic look on Whitney Port for the Undrest Store Opening on Robertson, complimenting her understated yet fashion-forward outfit. The look is gold-shimmered eyes and flushed cheeks in peachy tones of a true California girl. Here are the products I used:

FACE
Mally Smoothskin Cream Compact Foundation in Light
mark Mattnificent Powder in Natural Buff

CHEEKS
NARS The Multiple in Orgasm
NARS Blush in Luster
Smashbox Bronze Lights in Sunkissed Matte

EYES
mark Making Eyes Eye Shadow Duo in Down to Earth
MAC Fluid Line in Blitz & Glitz
Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara in Black

LIPS
MAC Lipstick in Ravishing
mark Glow Baby Glow Hook Up Lip Gloss in mPowerment Peach (developed by Lauren Conrad and me)

Whiney looks gorgeous Amy, her skin looks so glowy and luminous! I've never heard of or tried Mally, how do you like their products?

Mally is such a stunning line! I discovered it at Henri Bendel's last month and it's quickly become one of my top 5 brands. xoxo

I love this look. Though, since I've been reading your blog I love ALL the looks you do.

I have the most ivory skin a girl could have, being Irish and all that ; ), would this look work?

Tell us more about how you did her cheeks... I have the NARS orgasm multiple but mine never look as stunning as Whitneys xx

To get a beautifully flushed cheek, it's about layering. Start with the cream blush (in this case the NARS Multiple, then add an illuminating powder. Next add blush, then another sweep of the powder. This will create a "flush" from within. Then add a shimmering highlight. xoxo

Hi! I was wondering if you where the one who did Lauren's makeup when she had her birthday party on a boat? (Picture:http://www.mtv.com/onair/the_hills/season_5/images/photos/episodes/501/17-lauren-conrad-heidi-montag.jpg) Because I think she looks gorgeous in the dark matte lips and I would like to know what product she used!

Lauren did her own make-up on the Hills! But the lipstick she used for that episode was Mark Dew Drenched Lip Color in Juicy. xoxo

Hi, i was wondering what is the best way to apply the NARS Multiple on your cheeks? brush/fingers? Whitneys cheeks look so dewy and divine! thanks xx

Amy Nadine said...

I like to apply it with a foundation brush or sponge but fingers always are nice tools because you can warm up the product a little between them, then apply. But I used a foundation brush on Whitney. xoxo

i really love whitney's lipstick here. you said it's mac in ravishing. i looked it up and it seems to be much more of a coral shade. when applied does it really looks pinkish/plum like in whitney's pictures?

Hey Sarah! I promise I used MAC Ravishing on her that night and it was a peachy color in person, so it must be the hues in the pictures that are off... sorry!
